Geography & climbing context
The highest of the Tre Cime / Drei Zinnen — the postcard wall of the Dolomites.
Cima Grande is the central and highest tower of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The normal route is a classic Dolomite rock climb with fixed gear in places; the north face holds historic hard routes. Most visitors hike the circuit around the towers from Rifugio Auronzo without summiting.
After you check trip readiness for Cima Grande di Lavaredo, explore the summit on PeakAtlas3D’s interactive 3D topographic map in the Dolomites, Veneto, Italy.
